New BeBop Features and Improvements!

Written by John Conroy | Jun 28, 2021 3:00:00 PM

We released a bunch of cool new features and improvements to BeBop this weekend! Wanna check them out?

You've already been enjoying the ability to view and playback MP4 files from a web browser directly from Content Hub... and now you can to do the same with audio files! Also, just like with video files you can turn on permissions to allow direct download of audio files.

We’ve also made Content Hub faster and easier to use by moving it to the main navigation pane in the MCP.

Similarly, Rev Notes now supports review-and-approve workflows of audio files (MP3, WAV, AAC) and permissions-based downloading. Your admins manage all your user permissions, and if you have downloading turned on you'll see a new option the next time you create a Rev Notes BeBop Link!

Rev Notes also now supports keyboard playback using the J, K, and L keys, just like most NLEs!

Rev Live now supports custom watermarking to help protect content when you broadcast it! You also have the option to co-brand BeBop Links and Rev Notes webpages with your logo!

And last but not least the Session Dashboard will now displays release notes the first time you start up after an update, so you’ll always have easy access to see what’s new.

We listen really closely to the feedback we get from customers and creatives on BeBop for ideas on new features and ways to improve the user experience. Sometimes we even figure out ways to address issues with software that isn't even ours (for example this latest release includes a fix - for BeBop users - for a “cannot find image file” error with the Red Giant Universe plugin). So don't hesitate to let us know what you think!
